Kamarul Eqifshah

Kit, age 7, is a deaf girl living in a small kampong in Kuala Selangor which is famous for firefly habitants. Her hearing parents struggle with their financial situation, as her father is only a boat man taking tourists for the fireflies tour. Kit’s mother wants Kit to learn sign language and go to school, yet Kit is not brave enough to communicate with people, as she tends to live in her own world surrounded by nature. Things begins to change, when Kit encounters one firefly that seems to communicate with her, by blinking and flying in a certain manner.

Co-workers Ikmal, Botak and Mok find out about an urban legend at their work place - their work building requires an annual sacrifice after a woman had committed suicide there years ago. The urban legend soon proves to be true, putting all their lives in danger.

Razif works with Mr. Suhaimi who sells illegal goods. While Razif was busy managing the sale, police raided their place and arrested him. Razif was questioned and sentenced to 15 years in prison for not confessing to the case and was forced to testify against his former boss, Mr Suhaimi in court. Razif received threats from the 'Cengkih Manis' group but Razif and his family were put into the Witness Protection Program by the police so that they would not be killed before the prosecution's case. Razif's family had to disguise and convert their identity into villagers and had to adapt to the village environment.
