A fantasy anthology of 15 segments each dealing with a specific neighbourhood of Montreal and its signature idiosyncrasies. This terrifying tour-of-the-town captures neighbourhoods, buildings and iconic locations from North America's Amsterdam, shedding the straightforward storyline for a narrative melting-pot filled with demons, shadowy humanoids and disgusting otherworldly beings.

It's wintertime and the sun isn't coming out, so Elisa is depressed. Her friend, Vincent, does not hear it that way. He thinks she just needs to get out of her darkened apartment. Determined to prove he's right, Vincent kidnaps an elderly psychiatrist and forces her to give Elisa a "therapy session".

Le film tourne autour de l'ex-policier Pierre Gauthier maintenant à la tête de Pulsar International, une agence de sécurité privée de haut calibre. Appelé en renfort par son ex-patron Gilbert Tanguay (Michel Dumont) afin de mettre à jour une conspiration, Tanguay recrute son employée Sophie (Rachelle Lefevre), qui devra gagner la confiance de Sam Cohen (Stéphane Rousseau) et de Steve Bélanger (Patrick Huard), deux associés de la mafia italienne montréalaise dirigée par le parrain Dominic Fagazi (René Angelil). Fagazi et Cohen trament une affaire de fraude ambitieuse mettant en jeu des lingots d'or.

Après le décès de son mari volage, Gisèle, travailleuse sociale de 52 ans, tombe éperdument amoureuse de Yannick, un de ses anciens clients kleptomane.

Le film raconte la vie d'une chanteuse des années 1940-50 : Alys Robi. Pascale Bussières y incarne le rôle principal, entourée de Serge Postigo (Olivier Guimond, le premier amour de la chanteuse), de Denis Bernard (Lucio Agostini, le deuxième amour d'Alys) et de Michel Barrette (le père d'Alys). Nous voyons la comédienne en spectacle interpréter les plus grands succès de la légende québécoise ainsi que la star lors de son internement à l'asile Saint-Michel-Archange de Québec, aujourd'hui l'Institut psychiatrique Robert-Giffard. Elle y subira une lobotomie à l'âge de 28 ans.
