En les interrogeant Michel Polac tente de mieux cerner le personnalité trouble de Louis-Ferdinand Céline, antisémite notoire et écrivain de génie. Dans une seconde partie, Michel Polac poursuit son enquête sur Céline en recueillant les témoignages de ceux qui l'ont bien connu, comme le peintre Eugène Paul, ou sa femme Lucette. De son antisémitisme à son écriture virtuose, de quoi alimenter encore le plus grand paradoxe de la littérature française.
