Nous sommes en 1897 quand Jonathan disparaît après avoir quitté l’Angleterre pour se rendre en Transylvanie, sur ordre du mystérieux comte Dracula. Mina Harker voyage donc vers cette lointaine contrée pour le retrouver. À son arrivée, elle trouve un village décimé et rencontre un certain Van Helsing, qui pourchasse le comte Dracula. Van Helsing prépare Mina à affronter le vampire, et l’improbable duo part secourir Jonathan des griffes de Dracula et de ses épouses, dans le but d’en finir pour toujours avec le règne de terreur du comte Dracula.
