Devas Dixit

Guru, un jeune homme d’une vingtaine d’années, vit dans la ville d’Agra et travaille dans un centre d’appel. Il est fou amoureux de Mala, une collègue de travail. Mais Guru habite chez ses parents. Leur maison est divisée en deux parties. Guru est au rez-de-chaussée avec sa mère tandis que son père vit à l’étage avec sa maîtresse. La mère de Guru a pour projet d’aménager la terrasse pour en faire une clinique dentaire pour Chaavi, la cousine de Guru, ce qui incite ce dernier à demander Mala en mariage afin de construire sa chambre sur la terrasse. Guru parvient à réunir toute la famille pour leur présenter Mala mais rien ne va se passer comme prévu.

Étudiant en médecine, Uday Gupta intègre à contrecœur un cours de gynécologie exclusivement féminin. Pour devenir un bon médecin, il va devoir se libérer de ses préjugés.

Après une carrière peu fructueuse, un acteur à la retraite revient pour le rôle de sa vie, mais se retrouve au dépourvu face à la modernisation de son industrie.

Sea of Lost Time is an allegory set in an undefined time and space, evoking the magic realism of Gabriel Garcia Marquez, inspired by his characters. A soldier comes back from the dead to a seaside village. He reminisces on the time lost while he was away, like a sea between his past and the dysfunctional present. Through him we discover a motley of characters: a rag-tag musical band, a man locked up inside an abandoned horse stable, his sister, also the soldier’s lover and who has been bemoaning the loss. An impressionistic view of the intertwined lives of those inhabiting imaginary spaces, with an underpinning of social and political metaphors.

The series follows Himmat Singh of Research and Analysis Wing who draws similar patterns in terrorist attacks and is convinced a single person is behind all the attacks. His task force team of five agents living in various parts of the world aim to catch the mastermind. The story is based on an inspiration taken from nineteen years worth of national significant events.
