Topan (Vino G. Bastian), a tailor, has just lost his wife, his tailor house and nearly lost the future of his son Bintang (Jefan Nathanio) who gets expelled from school because he can’t afford to pay the tuition. Topan doesn’t lose hope however. With the help of his cousin Darman (Ringgo Agus Rakhman), he goes through one job to another to make ends meet, from train ticket scalper, construction laborer to stuntman. Topan’s spirit charms Prita (Marsha Timothy), a kiosk girl who works near the station. With Prita’s help, Topan rises and restores all his dreams.

As a result of killing a group of robbers as a form of self-defense, Ridho was thrown into prison. While he was a prisoner, Ridho experienced unfair treatment and was abused by his cellmates. When he came out of prison after 12 years, Ridho had difficulty finding work. Only a grocery store owner named Siti gave him a job. Then, Ridho remembered the letter he received six years ago in prison regarding his mother's death. Ridho searches for information, until all the clues point to Siti's child, Annisa, whom he loves.

They then released a duet single adapted from a poem by Via entitled 5 Detik & Rasa Rindu. The song turned out to be successful and made fans hope that the two of them would fall in love. However, Gana actually fell in love with Via, and Via felt the same way. Their love story became complicated because it turned out that Draupadi also liked her duet partner, until finally they were caught in a love triangle.
