Manami helps out at her family's beauty salon and runs the unsuccessful "50% Theater Company." One night, after missing a call from Nao, her sister, Manami later discovers that Nao died that very night. After getting into a conflict with her mother, Manami and a friend set out for Tokyo in order to collect Nao's things. There, through encounters and reunions with various people, Manami finally comes to face with herself.

Ayuha Samaru is a high school student. She is honest and works hard at everything, no matter what. One day, she has trouble at a gyudon restaurant due to money. A man at the restaurant, Yoshitaka Hiromitsu, helps her out. The next day, she finds that Yoshitaka Hiromitsu has come to her school as a substitute teacher for her ill homeroom teacher. Ayuha Samaru now believes that Yoshitaka Hiromitsu is her fate in love. She keeps expressing her feelings to him.

Prosecutor Komazuki Nao from the Yokohama District Public Prosecutors Office’s Minato Mirai branch and lawyer Tsutaya Madoka (Matsu Takako) from the law firm Yokohama Gold dated for seven years since the time they were in school. Résolues à ne pas se laisser abattre, «Barefoot» et ses acolytes «Kickboard» (Yuumi Kawai) et «Blue Hawaii» (Kilala Inori) décident de réaliser leur propre film qu’elles présenteront au festival de l’école. Elles donnent même le rôle principal à Rintaro (Daichi Kaneko), un garçon assez étrange… qui se montre être encore plus bizarre que ce qu’elles s’imaginaient!

Shibuya, the year is 2036. In contrast to the front face of the city with its huge skyscrapers, the backside of Shibuya is a home ground for WeTubers. Mitsuru (played by Daichi Kaneko) and Kakeru (played by Kotaro Daigo), who grew up together as orphans, live a life at the bottom of the ladder with no family, education, or money, but they dream of a great turnaround in their lives by becoming popular WeTubers. One day, they encounter a mannequin uncle (played by Shôhei Uno). When he releases a video of his encounter with the suspicious mannequin uncle, the number of views on their channel increase dramatically. Viewers begin asking him for advice, and they decide to help solve their problems. However, they soon find their selves caught up in a puzzling case.

Un soir à Tokyo, les étudiants Yamane Mugi et Hachiya Kinu font connaissance après avoir raté tous les deux le dernier train à la gare de Meidaimae sur la ligne Keio. Partageant les mêmes goûts en terme de musique ou de cinéma, ils se rapprochent très vite et commencent à sortir ensemble. Après avoir fini leurs études, ils s'installent dans le même appartement tout en travaillant à temps partiel. Tandis que le célèbre centre commercial PARCO de Shibuya ferme ses portes, que l'émission SMAPxSMAP s'arrête après plus de vingt ans à l'antenne, leur petite vie de couple, agrémentée de l'adoption d'un chat abandonné, poursuit son train-train immuable pendant que les deux jeunes gens cherchent un emploi plus stable. Cinq années d'une relation qui malgré les apparences pourrait bien se terminer aussi soudainement qu'elle a commencé.

Pour tenter de la retrouver, le médecin Iwamori Akira se rend dans le village natal de sa femme qui a disparu. Les lieux sont particulièrement animés en raison des préparatifs d'une importante fête religieuse qui ne se tient que tous les douze ans. Cependant, derrière cette agitation se cachent également des tensions et des rancœurs qui donnent lieu à des conflits familiaux ou de générations. Un orage va s'abattre sur la localité et la couper du reste du monde. C'est alors que les morts vont commencer à s'enchainer.
