Vladimir Gorokhov

The film is about a family with three happy people - a father, a mother and a 10-year-old son. But it happens that a father is turned into a criminal. He could not prove that he was right. And no one was interested in this. Out of grief, he began to drink. And he drank to the point that he lost his human face. Happiness left the family, the boy’s childhood ended.

A young master, Vladimir Dubrovsky, comes to the estate to visit his father, who has long been in litigation with his neighbor, the despotic landowner Troekurov. Having seriously insulted Dubrovsky Sr., Troekurov tries to go to peace, but the proud old man is adamant.

Silent serious people buy weapons. They are taking him by a caravan of trucks through Moscow. One of them changes into new clothes and leaves the others for his beloved girlfriend, who lives in the capital.
