Anjana Premarathna

Two friends, Bhanuka and Kalana, arrive in a remote village where Bhanuka falls for Samadhi, the beautiful daughter of the revered Ayurvedic healer, Mr. Wickramasinghe. As their stay unfolds, they uncover a hidden crime in the village.

Some are called heroes, some villains. Histories get buried and the dead are resurrected. Sometimes a thread of humanity gets drawn from blurred stories. It could clothe the world one day or stitch together a fallen flag.

In this tale of deception and misadventure, a group of five village con men, each with unique skills, form a traveling performance troupe to camouflage their illicit actives. When approached by Swami, a con artist posing as a Hindu priest, they agree to pose as fake businessmen in a scheme to buy two Walampooris.
