The sun is setting as the day draws to an end. We follow two young women in a solitary room as they attempt to disappear into thin air by consuming Nectar: an oily sap extracted from a strange plant. The film follows Mats. A boy in his 20s with a life characterized by anxiety and paranoia. Troubled by a nightmare, he goes to visit his psychologist where he describes an unpleasant dream he has had; a nightmare in which he killed a wild animal.
On his way home one night, Kristian encounters a young woman in desperate need of help. He agrees to accompany her to the train station, but soon begins questioning her story.
A group of privileged Norwegian teenagers go on a trip to a friend’s coastal retreat on Norway’s south coast when news breaks out about a strange virus spreading around the world. Seemingly sheltered from the unfolding devastation in their remote holiday home, the teenagers fastidiously continue to eat, drink, play and make love.
