Kazuto Ishikawa is a first-class architect. He is married to Kiyomi. They have a son, Tadashi, who attends high school and a daughter, Miyabi, who attends middle school. They live together in a refined home, designed by Kazuto. An injury causes Tadashi to quit playing soccer. Since that time, Tadashi often stays out all night without permission. One evening, Tadashi leaves home and does not return. Kazuto and Kiyomi become worried about their son and consider going to the police. News then reveals the murder of Tadashi's classmate. The police suspect that Tadashi might be involved in the murder.

Half a Confession introduces itself as a thriller and abruptly changes gears, transforming into a tale of morality with deeper insights into its characters than we had anticipated. It begins when Soichiro Kaji (Terao), a retired detective, walks into police headquarters and confesses to the murder of his wife. We learn that the victim had prematurely developed Alzheimer's after the tragic death of their son, and in her suffering, had asked to die. The police chiefs would be far more content to take him at his word if it were not for a conspicuous hole in his story: 48-hour gap between the alleged murder and his confession. Fearing a public relations nightmare, they are eager to bury the incident and keep the press in the dark.

Due to her husband's work, Maiko moves with her husband to Tokyo from Hiroshima. They live in an apartment offered by her husband's company. Her husband is busy with work and comes home late every night. Maiko beings to talk with Futaba, who lives next door to her. Futaba is her husband's boss. They talk with each other from their porches. One day, Maiko learns that her husband is having an affair. She becomes closer to Futaba.

A collab drama between the travel guide book “Chikyu no Arukikata” and four celebrities, who visit various places across the four episodes. Each episode will focus on a different actor and destination.

Yuichi composes songs that became "Yells" for people all over Japan in the Showa Era (1926-1989) in which radical changes were going on.

Sakura prend tout au pied de la lettre, à tel point que lorsque le président de l'entreprise dit aux nouveaux employés de se sentir libres de lui faire part de leurs réflexions lors de la cérémonie d'ouverture de l'entreprise, c'est exactement ce que fait Sakura : elle fait savoir à tout le public qu'elle a trouvé le discours d'ouverture du président trop long et qu'il y a eu plusieurs erreurs dans ce qu'il a dit. Ce drama raconte l'histoire d'une femme unique qui, bien qu'elle soit une inadaptée dans la société, ne renoncera jamais à poursuivre son rêve.
