Documentaire sur le tournage du film Bem Bom, un biopic sur le plus grand groupe de filles portugais, Doce, qui au début des années 1980 a marqué la musique pop portugaise. Parallèlement au récit du film réalisé par Patrícia Sequeira, qui traite de la vie des quatre chanteurs de manière romancée, suivant le chemin du groupe depuis sa formation en 1979 jusqu'à son apogée au Festival Eurovision, le documentaire révèle les coulisses de cette fabrication. La réalisatrice et les quatre protagonistes Bárbara Branco, Carolina Carvalho, Ana Marta Ferreira et Lia Carvalho racontent l'expérience vécue tout au long de la production, des répétitions, en passant par les chorégraphies jusqu'aux intenses journées de tournage. En contrepoint, la vraie Doce, Fátima Padinha, Helena Coelho, Teresa Miguel et Laura Diogo, partagent des moments de leur carrière et de leur vie qui insufflent dans ce documentaire le côté réel et inconnu de ces quatre femmes en tant que groupe.

It is 1979. Four young ladies are hired to form a girl band. They can sing, they shine with their dancing, and they shock the country. They become a big hit. They are DOCE.

A group of actors interpret the words of Basil, Lord Henry, Dorian Gray, Sibyl Vane and James Vane, from the novel "The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde. Next to them are the Butlers - figures that compose the scenic space, essentially empty. In this adaptation of a literary work to the scene, the actors struggle with the movement of the words and their suitability for the drama. This film, instead of portraying the show creation process, sought a view from afar in order to enhance a point of view on the borders between art and life.

Luís Mário Lopes wrote the solo A Boa Alma for Mónica Calle in 2015, based on the works of Bertolt Brecht marking the departure of Casa Conveniente from Cais do Sodré and their arrival in the new venue in zona J, Chelas. The original score is by JP Simões.
