Fanny, 16 ans, est une adolescente comme les autres. Elle rêve d’aventure et d’émancipation, elle adore la danse et vit une première histoire d’amour. Un beau jour, elle croise Natacha, qui lui présente Damien. Plus âgé que Fanny, Damien est un chanteur qui semble très bien gagner sa vie; l’argent n’est jamais un problème pour lui et il gâte Fanny. Cette dernière ne tarde pas à tomber amoureuse de lui puis est introduite à un univers qui lui était jusque-là inconnu : celui des bars de danseuses et de la prostitution.
