23yo Bae, a pianist and hiphop artist, struggles with the loss of his hearing while trapped in a period piece anno 1743. Through an odd, feverish and dream-like shakespearian encounter with Ferdinand (his 'manager') and Amélie - a peer who apparently plays music closer to her heart - he learns how to get rid of the darkness in his inner zone. He slowly finds his way back to his present day self and learns to come to terms with his handicap. This is a freely interpreted short music film built around 3 music videos ('Freneny', 'Amélie' and 'Zo Zijn') based on the true events and memories of Dutch musician sor (Rosario Mussendijk) who became deaf instantly one day due to a rare condition.

Matt, a 18-year-old (senior) boy, is in a relationship with a girl in his class, but realizes that something is not right. After a while he realizes that he finds his swimming partner Lander more interesting than his girlfriend Lize. These feelings make Matt feel different. He no longer knows how to stay with himself, especially when his father teases him more and more about the fact that he still hasn't slept with Lize. In the end, Matt chooses to take steps for his own happiness.

Thirteen-year-old Czech boy and a Belgian girl of the same age who meet at a roadhouse facility want to meet and talk to each other in a short time between lunch and their departure. With the help of an Arab truck driver and an African football player, they overcome the language barrier and manage to spend a few minutes without their families. Both share a modern European experience in this modest location. "Divine Sparks" offers a pleasant story about the power of communication and prejudices.
