VI GÅR NED MED STIL OG ENGANGSGRILL is a short film that explores the human reaction to a climate crisis that seems unmanageable. A meteorologist is among the select few who get to join those in power and technology giants of a new planet. If he leaves, he leaves his partner and the small group of people who have given up hope and would rather continue the party.

Isak is in his mid-20s and from Somalia. He works in a nursing home, where he meets Ingunn 92 years old who is suffering from dementia.

Through conversations with an array of Norwegian writers, filmmakers, psychiatrists, artists and more, Izquierdo investigates the impact of both the film and novel Sult by Knut Hamsun on generations of Norwegian culture and artistic practice, while exploring how it could speak about what it means to be an artist today.

Christmas is approaching, and when their father loses his job as a Christmas tree seller, Ronja and Melissa take over the responsibility. While their father drowns his sorrows in the Stargate pub, the two girls are forced to fend for themselves and dream of a different reality. It is a film about a father who does his best, but is not enough; about an older sister who has far too big shoes to fill; and about a little sister who never stops hoping.
