Ici, il se fait embaucher par un riche exploitant agricole, l'autoritaire Harrison, et ses relatioins avec son nouveau patron sont difficiles. La situation devient intenable lorsque Jim et Jessica, la fille de Harrison, s'éprennent l'un de l'autre.
