Two married couples from opposite social classes are brought together in a single night following a tragic event that will change the rest of their lives.

In an apartment building, residents call the police and the SPCA to stop a dog's incessant barking. What is going on behind the locked door of the flat belonging to the elderly everyman? The short Apartment 2a depicts generations not divided by a gap, but united in their disregard for the person next door. The elders have been made indifferent by the bitterness of age, the young by the self-absorption of being terminally online.

A day after an incident during a school production of a play called Again, lead actor Aljaž turns up in school. In the hallways, he is confronted with questions about the previous night, and forced to deal with his popularity, his love interest, his mistakes on stage, his friends' jokes, and his fear of failure. His love of acting and the positive attitude of his friends help him find the way to bring the schoolday to a happy close.

The film tells the story of the Old Faith in the Soča Region. While the time of the religion’s origin remains unknown, the only documented fact about this is that in 1331, the bringers of a new religion (Christianity) came from Čedad, initiating a violent Christianisation of the Soča region. This was a long and extremely violent process.
