Le film présente un autobus qui sillonne les routes de la guerre au milieu de la crise Syrienne. Le film raconte l’histoire d’Eisa (Laham), un animateur de radio à la retraite qui prend un bus de Damas à Alep pour rendre visite à sa fille Dima (Kinda Hanna), qui a perdu son mari lors de la violence qui a englouti le nord syrien. En chemin, il voit la destruction à travers le cœur de la Syrie, interagissant avec des passagers de différents segments de la société syrienne, dont toutes les vies ont été ruinées et déformées par le conflit actuel.
