Rajaram, a middle-class clerk, is secretly in love with his neighbour, Sandhya, but is too shy to disclose his love. He is shocked when his smooth-talking friend comes visiting and soon woos Sandhya.

The film tells the tale of Mumbai city and the millions who get off the train at VT station at every second of the day, hoping to latch on to the magic of Mumbai.
