Ra'fat marries Souad against his family's wishes and they go to live in Syria. When Ra'fat dies, Souad works to support her daughter Sahar who wants to marry her neighbor Walid. Souad falls ill but hides it from her daughter whom she sends to live with her rich aunt, Dalwat, in Cairo.

A love story is born between the poor student Tarek and Amal the wealthy girl, they face a lot of financial problems, while her father wants her to marry the rich man Ashraf. Amal escapes and marries Tarek, but their struggle still continues.

A lonely Egyptian immigrant young man lives in a room in a building in Lebanon, barely keeps up with his daily expenses by selling of his fine art paintings, led by chance he gets to meet another Egyptian immigrant lady in a park. He then tries to exploit her physically as a means to break his loneliness, and when she refuses he suspects that she is pretending to keep her chastity and virtuosity, he then begins a long journey of doubting many of her actions and her words in an attempt to expose her true self.

The events of the series revolve around a social and dramatic framework around Al-Juri neighborhood, where it represents the homeland, and the work aims to show the value of the homeland and that it is not just dirt, stones and houses, and that it is something precious that deserves love and loyalty.
