Fraîchement débarqués dans un chic pensionnat britannique, deux jeunes garçons partagent une chambre. L’un est tout frêle, roux flamboyant et il aime écrire et jouer de la guitare. L’autre est un grand blond baraqué qui devient vite la vedette de l’équipe de rugby du collège. Le premier est hué, intimidé, harcelé par ses pairs. Le second est admiré, adulé, envié. Pourtant, les deux garçons deviendront des amis et découvriront qu’ils ont encore plus en commun qu’ils ne le croyaient…

On a warm summer's day in the not too distant future, Ireland's first divorce case is unravelling on national television. The lives of several neurotic middle class couples are followed as they reflect on their relationships in the context of legalised divorce.

Trois prêtres et leur gouvernante sont exilés sur Craggy Island, petite île au large des côtes irlandaises. Leur comportement, indigne de l'Église catholique, a conduit leurs supérieurs à leur infliger ce bannissement : le père Ted Crilly a détourné des dons récoltés par l'église ; le père Jack Hackett est un alcoolique obsédé par les femmes et le père Dougal McGuire est un simple d'esprit.

The show is a satirical and often surreal examination of subjects close to the hearts of the Irish people. It takes the form of a fake anthropological documentary as if made by British television. Each show explores one subject from it's history through to the present covering 6 or 7 topics (or subheadings) using voxpops and informed opinion to inspire comedy sketches and unflinching rants from numerous created characters. The third series is performed by comedians David McSavage, John Colleary, Pat McDonnell and Dermot McMorrow among others. The topics we are covering this year range from Media and Politics to Christmas and Family.

Candid camera show in which unsuspecting members of the Irish public as well as some celebrities are accosted by such bizarre characters as the irascible Jake Stevens, Clifford the Orangemen and the desperate bride. All comic roles are played by comedians P.J. Gallagher, Maeve Higgins and Patrick McDonnell.
