Un père de famille acculé par les dettes décide de profiter d'une coïncidence et d'une circonstance imprévisible pour disparaître. José Benítez, a young Paraguayan worker who lives in Buenos Aires marginalized by his surroundings, is the victim of a Salidera. Motivated by his desperation and the urge to reverse his current condition, Benítez will try to get his money back, discovering in such an attempt that the possibility of achieving it is not so far away.

Facu and his uncle, distant from each other, sail to Facu’s late father’s house, who died in a confusing incident with the coast guard during an environmental protest. As they enter the cold, swampy island forest, two coast guards watch them, making the uncle uneasy, while Facu dismisses his father’s fate. They confront each other, deepening the pain of absence, driving Facu to enter his father’s house. The coast guards approach the uncle, and Facu escapes into the forest but one guard follows him, drawing his weapon. Facu’s only option is to jump into the river, realizing underwater that to save his uncle he must reconnect with his father.

A young working-class man comes from Misiones (an Argentinian province) to Buenos Aires, with a fighting rooster, looking for his brother, and gets involved with low life characters, who introduce him to a world of crime.
