Claire and Robert spend most of their time in a house they own in the beautiful and remote countryside in Italy. Their life seems to be perfect. Many homosexual people are still afraid to come out and struggle with the reaction of their social environment. This is particularly painful when the family does not offer any shelter. The film “Schlossallee” addresses this problem. It addresses the taboo nature of homosexuality in a socially critical manner. It illustrates and questions the often lack of acceptance and intolerance in society.

Ivo works as a palliative home-care nurse. Every day, she visits families, couples and single people. They live in small flats and large houses. They all have different lives and deaths. They all have different ways of dealing with the time that remains. At home, Ivo’s teenage daughter has long since become independent. From morning to night, Ivo drives around in her old Skoda which she has made into her personal living space. Here, she eats her meals, works, sings, swears and dreams. One of her patients, Solveigh, has become a close friend. Ivo has also formed a relationship with Solveigh’s husband, Franz. Day after day, the two work together to care for Solveigh. And they sleep with each other. Solveigh’s strength is diminishing and she soon has to rely on support for the simplest tasks. She wants the final decision to be her own: she wants Ivo to help her die.

Cette série met en scène les forces de l'ordre et le cabinet du Procureur. La plupart de l'action se situe à Berlin. Les deux coéquipiers, Bonhoff et Kehler, parcourent la ville pour rechercher les coupables de délits ou de crimes, et ce, sous la houppe des procureurs Lotze et Glaser, remplacés par les procureurs Kampenn et Sturm par la suite. La série est une adaptation de la série New York, police judiciaire, mais aucunement décidée et produite par Dick Wolf, contrairement aux autres adaptations des séries du concept New York District (Paris, enquêtes criminelles, Londres, police judiciaire).
