Un petit patron agricole, préoccupé par la santé de son bébé, tente de conjuguer sa vie personnelle à son travail chronophage. Pour son exploitation de soja, il recrute un jeune homme de 18 ans qui a un besoin urgent de gagner de l’argent pour subvenir aux besoins de sa famille, récemment agrandie. Un jour un terrible évènement advient sur la plantation.

Based on the well-known poem by Jayme Caetano Braun, Bochincho, O Filme tells the story of an old man who, together with business partners, evokes his memories of a picturesque episode of his past in Rio Grande do Sul.

Elias is going through a troubled time: his son Rafael urgently needs a heart transplant. Disturbed by this harrowing wait, Elias begins to live on the edge between right and wrong, while envisioning an idea that could save his son's life.
