After losing her husband, Sultan, fearing loneliness, told her children she wanted to remarry immediately. Her son Nevzat, with a traditional mindset, opposed this, arguing it would be unacceptable in their small town, especially so soon after their father's death. Her daughter Reyhan respected her mother’s wishes but felt the decision was too hasty. Despite their objections, Sultan remained determined. Seeking a new husband, she also entered the business world, defying societal expectations. She turned her house into a boarding house, opened a market stall, and challenged male vendors. Sultan's bold actions inspired other women in the district to break free from traditional roles, leading them to work alongside her in the boarding house and market. Her efforts ultimately sparked a movement for female independence, as more women gained their own identities.

Atiye est une jeune et belle artiste peintre d'Istanbul. Elle a une famille aimante, un petit ami fortuné et adorable, et pour couronner le tout, elle est sur le point d'exposer ses œuvres pour la première fois. Mais sa vie parfaite va changer à la suite d'une découverte faite dans le plus ancien temple de la Terre, Gobeklitepe. Erhan, un archéologue, découvre un symbole dans les ruines qui relierait Atiye à Gobeklitepe. Elle va se lancer dans une quête afin de découvrir les secrets de son passé.

The original series tells the story of a small-town Welsh lawyer, wife and mother, Faith, whose maternity leave is cut short when her husband and business partner, Evan, suddenly goes missing. As Faith sets about searching for the truth behind Evan's disappearance, she discovers that her seemingly idyllic home town hides many dark secrets that pose a danger to her and her beloved family and make her question how well she knows the man who is her husband.
