Carlos Fuster, cadre dirigeant espagnol, vit à Bruxelles et travaille pour une importante société pétrolière américaine. Il mène une vie luxueuse, animé par l'espoir de devenir associé de son entreprise et déménager à New York avec sa femme Susan.
