This drama is dedicated to Anica Savić-Rebac, a strong figure of Serbian science and art. A university professor, PhD in classical philology, poet, historian of ideas and translator of several dead and living languages and a rare person of culture.

Set in the 1930s, it follows the imaginary journey of Vuk Karadzic and Joakim Vujic across Serbia in the form of a road movie. Once in Kragujevac, where they ask support from Prince Milos Obrenovic, they realize that they are competition to one another in terms of the future of Serbian language.

The main character of this TV drama is a musician and prominent citizen Dimkovic who wants to stay out of the war. Only when his daughter’s life becomes threatened does he hesitate, but his actions come too late.

An unexpected visit radically changes the life of a small isolated place in Serbia. Jana (18) will do everything to save the stranger that she thinks will take her far from there.

State security inspector Ivan reveals an inserted terrorists in Yugoslavia, sent there by Croatian emigrants, enemies of the above socialist state. Their mission is to select the appropriate places on Adriatic coast which they would later blow up. The terrorists are expected to set a series of explosions that would cause a public disturbance and uncertainty in the Yugoslavia's position in Europe. Ivan follows Pavle and Elsa who are staying in Croatia as tourists, stepping into action in a crucial moment.

The title protagonist is Aleksandar Ignjatovic, a modest young man who spoke against the occupiers during the German occupation in the Second World War. In addition to the acted part, it also contains documentary segments, i.e. contemporary interviews with his friends, acquaintances and relatives.

The story begins at the darkest moment in 1916 when the country is occupied, the army on Corfu. The plot follows the historical events until 1921 and the death of King Peter, ie the Great War, the liberation of the country, the creation of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, and the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
