Le méchant docteur Méchancetés part à Torremolinos pour ramener à la vie 4 karatekas noyés dans la baie de Malaga quand ils travaillaient comme mercenaires durant la seconde guerre mondiale. Avec l’aide de Zombies, il kidnappe 5 jeunes filles récemment déflorées, avec l’intention de réveiller le monstre Jocántaro, moitié bête, moitié poulpe-crabe, afin de dominer le monde. Jess, un surfeur catholique et célibataire, rassemble un groupe d'amis (un karateka, un prêtre, une religieuse et un yuppies) et venir au secours de Danuta, une des filles kidnappée et copine de Jess. Pour faire face aux sbires de Méchancetés, ils invoquent l'esprit de Maître Miyagi pour qu'il leur enseigne le karaté. Pendant ce temps, les autorités ont remis à Chuck Lee, célèbre karateka, et le Dr Orloff, parapsychologue accro au cannabis, la résolution du kidnapping des jeunes filles.
