In 1957 French student Pierre Durand comes to Moscow to do an internship at Moscow State University. Here he meets ballerina Kira Galkina and photographer Valera Uspenskiy. With them he discovers the cultural side of Moscow — not just the traditional one, but the underground one as well. During his year in Russia’s capital Pierre lives an entirely different life than what he’s used to. But the internship and the experience of the Soviet people’s way of life are not the only things Pierre is after. He’s searching for his father, White officer Tatishchev, who was arrested in the 1930s.

A young russian language and literature teacher , Anna Fedorova, goes to a yacht party with old friends. As the morning comes, Anna jumps into the sea, while the others are still sleeping. In a wet dress, barefoot, with bruises and abrasions all over her body, the woman goes to the police station and makes a rape allegation. She accuses her friends, influential people in the city, of the crime. The case causes enormous resonance, and the investigation sheds light on events from the past of all those involved in the case. It is not so much the alleged rapists who find themselves under the fire of public condemnation, but Anna herself.

In the story, Russian gymnastics champion Nastya quits her favorite sport due to a conflict with her coach. Unable to imagine life without victories, the girl goes to women's rugby. Max, who left boxing and mixed martial arts at one time, trains in the men's team of the same club. Everyone in their team is exploring the honest, uncompromising and brutal world of rugby.

Lisa, Sonya and Yana have been friends since childhood and grew up in the same cottage. Usually, a girl has already graduated from college at the age of 25, has work experience and several novels behind her back. Someone even manages to get married and have a child. But Lisa, Sonya and Yana are not going according to plan. They don't know who they want to be yet and haven't found the love of their life yet. They are growing up, they want to be happy, and each is looking for their own way.
