Ana, a poor woman, agrees to be locked in an anechoic chamber, the most silent place in the world.

Ana spends the day playing alongside her mother, Elena, with the intention of getting closer to her, as they have been distant lately. A series of phone calls to Elena’s mobile will make Ana suspect that her mother is hiding something more than just her feelings.

Boliche tells the story of Anna, an eight-year-old girl from a rural Ibizan family who wins a porc negre in a local race. Anna becomes attached to the animal and names him Boliche, who soon becomes her loyal companion and best friend. What Anna doesn’t realize is that her family and neighbors are preparing for the traditional matançes festival. From that moment on, Anna will do whatever it takes to save Boliche.
