Patricio Crom is an antique guitar collector; that is why, when he runs into a star-rosette guitar -like the one Gardel used-, he sets out to recover its original sound. To do this, he gathers guitarists and specialists who help him achieve the hidden sound of tango.

A young working mother in Buenos Aires, Ana reads a note suggesting a relationship kept hidden by her husband, an executive preoccupied by his job. To solve the mystery she travels a long distance to Rio Escondido, an unimportant river town at the foot of the mountains in western Argentina, and the film becomes a journey of discovery as she finds her heart and her passion. Along the way, truths and perceptions intertwine when Ana meets Martin and she learns who and what he is.

Golden City, 1894. La population terrorise un Noir. Seul le shérif prend la défense de cet homme. Le shérif est tué et l'homme est lynché. L'evêché envoie alors un prêtre pour apaiser les esprits. Celui-ci est noir et la population le repousse. Avec courage et obstination, le prêtre parviendra à rallier la population à sa cause.
