Martín always wanted to be a film director, but until now he has not been able to fulfill his dream. After living in Madrid for a while, he returns to his native Mallorca to teach a course on the seventh art. His five students will give him back the hope he lost a long time ago and together they will join forces and passion to start a joint project. A priori insignificant course, but one that will change the lives of all of them.

A group of urbanites flee the city for different reasons: existential, economic crisis, need for fresh air, search for peace, inspiration to compose ... The intention of these strangers is to settle in an abandoned town and start their lives from scratch, but when they arrive they discover that there are still some neighbors: rural people with a very different way of seeing life.

When Gonzalo Torregrosa, owner and founder of Torregrosa Funeral Home, passes away, Dámaso Carrillo, his right-hand man in the company, doesn’t hesitate that the best for the business is taking the reins himself. However, against all odds, Nieves, the septuagenarian widow, decides to take the lead in the family business, with the assistance of her inept yet enthusiastic son-in-law, Chemi, a Marketing expert, and in defiance of her daughters’ plans to close the Funeral Home and start a gym. While Dámaso conspires and manipulates his colleagues against the new management, the company will face competition from Transitus Funeral Services and their expansion plans, as well as a #MeToo case that threatens Gonzalo Torregosa’s legacy.
