Patrolman Loyan tries to find his place in the new police department while keeping his friend Warsame, newly released from prison, on the right track. Loyan's ambition is to get into detective training, but his supervisor Jokisalo thinks he'd be better off patrolling the familiar neighbourhoods with his partner Johanna. The patrol gets down to business when they start investigating what looks like a suicide. Antero Päiviö, a professional criminal and racial bigot involved in drug trafficking, has jumped from his balcony. The man who was first pronounced dead suddenly wakes up and is taken to hospital. Loyan finds it hard to believe the man's story and decides to find out the truth at any cost. As the plot unravels, it's hard to know who to trust anymore, when Warsame seems to be up to something behind Loyan's back.

Un soir, dans un stand de hot-dogs en Laponie finlandaise, une fêtarde phobique de l'engagement, Aurora, rencontre l'iranien Darian. Darian lui demande soudain de l'épouser. Darian doit épouser une Finlandaise pour obtenir un asile pour lui et sa fille. Aurora le refuse, car elle est occupée à travailler comme technicienne des ongles et envisage de déménager en Norvège, loin de sa vie de merde. Cependant, après avoir rencontré sa douce fille, Aurora accepte de l'aider. Alors qu'Aurora présente de nombreuses femmes à Darian, les deux se rapprochent. Lorsque la candidate parfaite se présente, Darian et Aurora sont confrontés à un choix difficile : faire semblant d'être heureux ou arrêter de courir.

Oona (20-something) runs a small coffee shop in the heart of hipsteresque Kallio district in Helsinki. Oona’s is not really the classic entrepreneur type: she’s often late to work and throws out customers she dislikes. She’s also constantly in a state of existential crisis over what she should become and whether she’s a somebody or just a nobody. Oona’s best friend is Arttu, a 25 y.o. gay artist-dj-creator-whatever. Together they hate, love, party and cry and try to become adults.
