Ma Hanyi

The plot spans nearly 30 years and tells the story of a poor boy from the northeast, "Xiao Bao", who follows his village's hairdresser, "Er Ge" (Sha Yi), to Shenzhen, a special zone. The two are forced to take care of the baby, and then they meet up with a cold-hearted young woman named Ma Lu (Ma Li).

Après avoir été vaincu par le Maître Ip Man, Cheung Tin Chi, blessé dans son orgueil, mène une vie modeste, se consacrant à son épicerie et à l’éducation de son fils. En voulant secourir son ex-fiancée, le challenger de Ip va devenir la cible des triades de Hong-Kong, menées par le cruel Kit Kang et sa sœur Kwan. Il devra affronter le funeste Owen Davidson, un homme d’affaires américain au cœur du commerce de l’héroïne pour vaincre tous ses ennemis, sauver sa fierté et gagner le respect de ses pairs…
