The film takes place in the late 90s. The main character undertakes to organize a competition for young musicians. Who should become the winner of the competition, decided in advance. The performances are attended by unknown musicians representing a variety of musical genres and trends. They have different views on both life and music. Of course, the competition does not go as planned.

The legitimate heir to the throne in exile and the son of a murdered rebel — what do they have in common? Young men enter into a large-scale struggle for power and honor, in which those who seemed to be friends can betray, and former enemies can turn into allies. In order to achieve the goal, both the prince and the rebel's son will have to risk the most valuable and make the main choice in their lives — to go the preordained way or to oppose fate itself.

Then Artyom decides to prove who the “number one bomber” is really here. But on his way, a girl, Kira, unexpectedly appears, who is able to influence his dangerous plan.

He works as a policeman and is engaged in raids on drug dealers. She is a preacher in a secret religious community. One day, he accidentally dials the wrong number and falls in love with the voice he hears. Thus begins this strange connection between two solitudes.

A priceless scepter, a treasure that could secure a worry-free life in sunny Rio de Janeiro for Ibrahim Bender and his young apprentice Ostap, has slipped from under their noses and ended up in possession of Nestor Makhno, an anarchist army commander. Makhno is convinced that the scepter is one of many imperial relics hidden in the area. With mafia, partisans, and officers of the Red and White armies all determined to get their hands on the fabled gold cache, Ostap and his mentor Ibrahim must surpass their own brilliance to outmaneuver their rivals and snatch the prize. And with Ostap’s beloved fair maiden losing her trust in him, he must do everything in his power to win her back and stop her from marrying another man.

Russian Empire, 1919. By a twist of fate, young idealist Osip Zadunaisky meets an infamous con artist and self-proclaimed Turkish subject Ibrahim Bender. A man of pure thought and aristocratic upbringing, Osip would never have associated with a cunning and unscrupulous swindler, but Bender comes up with an offer Osip cannot refuse. A precious royal relic, a diamond-encrusted golden scepter is hidden somewhere in town; Bender needs a partner on his mission to find it, and offers Osip a share of the profit from selling the treasure. And so begins their joint venture, wrought with comical and dangerous twists and turns, where they have to outsmart and outmaneuver officers of the White Guard as well as the local mafia, who also have their eyes on the scepter. As their quest unfolds, Osip is compelled to learn Bender’s tricks of the trade: charming flattery, delicate deception, soft intimidation... as well as brute force.

Marches and hymns are diluted with foxtrot and chanson, well-dressed people appear on the embankments and, as a result, gopniks in a hurry to take money from them. Lawlessness begins, which the Cheka is unable to cope with — shops are robbed five times a day. Then the criminal world of St. Petersburg, led by Uncle Kolya, comes to the defense of the Nepmans, who begins to protect them. However, not all Nepmans agree to pay for such services, and then Uncle Kolya sends combat troops to them. The most famous and productive of them is the gang of Rody, a former anarchist, dude and heartthrob, North Beni Creek.
