A young woman comes home to Dublin for Christmas after ten months away. When her family resumes their old hostility, Sandra's only alternative is to return to desperate circumstances in London.

Cian and Pat have been joined at the hip since they were kids and have the run of their small town in the midlands. Cian is content to coast through a life of booze and casual hook-ups while Pat has grown weary of his surroundings.

In the near future a young biker leaves his crumbling life in rural Ireland to join a strange 'metal circus' as it tours the cities of Europe. He discovers a dark side to the circus and decides to leave, but finds he is caught between his love of a circus girl and the dark hand of the boss who is determined he stays.
