Un jour à une loterie, Futaba Yoshinaga gagne une statue en forme de gargouille. Une fois chez elle, elle réalise que la statue est en réalité vivante et qu'elle est capable de parler. En effet, elle dit vouloir protéger Futaba et sa famille. Mais cela ne plait pas à la jeune fille qui a du mal à supporter la présence de la statue. Mais cette dernière, créée par un alchimiste, renferme un trésor et des personnes plus ou moins attentionnées vont tenter de la récupérer.
