Li Chang-An

In one of her first film appearances Yukari plays an undercover Japanese criminal police officer investigating the gang led by Yamashita (Yasuaki Kurata). As in most of these Taiwanese films, slapstick comedy alternates with intense action. An absurd plot has something to do with missing bullion and a treasure map. Yamashita’s gang wants it, and so do an unlikely band of heroes, including an incompetent traffic cop, his cop wannabe girl friend, and a couple of card sharks who have teamed up with an infatuated gas station owner. Some of Taiwan’s best action actors provide excellent kung fu action.

Little Kai (Sun Ya-Tung) is a member of a criminal organisation. The tattoo on his chest earns him the nickname of ‘Leopard’. Immediately upon Little Kai’s release from jail, his brother is framed and murdered. Suspecting that it’s an inside job, Kai returns to the organisation to see if he can find out root out who is behind his brother’s death.

Alors qu'il revient d'une mission à l'étranger, l'inspecteur Huang Wei est chaleuresement acceuilli par ses collègues losque se produit un terrible évènement : le chef de la police est assassiné sous leurs yeux. Huang poursuit le meurtrier et le voit s'enfuir à bord d'une jeep... mais quelques mètres plus loin, la voiture explose ! Huang ne retrouve comme indice qu'un morceau de doigt. L'empreinte lui relève l'identité du tueur-tué : Ah Hua, un prisonnier condamné à mort et censé avoir été exécuté... deux ans auparavant ! Le commanditaire ne peut être qu'une personne à l'intérieur même de la prison. Alors que l'enquête piétine, Huang se fait volontairement enfermer...
