A young bride is possessed by a dybbuk, a malicious possessing spirit, believed to be the dislocated soul of a dead person, on the eve of her wedding.

Comedy set against the danger and brutality of Belfast. Music librarian by day, showband singer by night, Nelson Glover cocoons himself from the brutality by escaping into a dream world of romantic melody. But his dream world disintegrates after he meets siren Sandra Carse.

Finn's story seems to begin when Henry Kirk comes into the bookshop where she works. But it goes back a lot further than that...
