Dans les années 1970, Donnie et Joe Emerson rêvent, dans la ferme familiale au nord-ouest des États-Unis, d’une carrière musicale. À l’abri des regards, les deux frères déploient tout leur talent et sortent l’album pop-funk «Dreamin’ Wild», qui ne connaît malheureusement pas le succès. Des décennies plus tard, un producteur new-yorkais découvre l’album, le relance et propulse ainsi du jour au lendemain les deux inconnus au rang de stars.

Irene is only eight years old when she witnesses her father’s death at the hands of a hit-and-run. Haunted by the sense of guilt of not being able to remember the killer’s face, Irene becomes a rebellious and introverted teen with the sole obsession of getting herself justice.

Freeport, Maine. Fall of 1998. A group of teenagers hang out together after school - Ryan's parents are gone, and his house is free. They drink, smoke, watch a ratty old VHS tape, and get closer and closer to each other. But as unexpected emotions start to reveal themselves, and the teens start to separate, they soon realize they are not alone. And something inhuman is outside - picking them off one by one.
