Kyôichi Furumoto

After disbanding the trio, entertainer Kenichi was working part-time at a cleaning company. On the other hand, Nami, who was Kenichi's ex-girlfriend, formed a new combination with Yusuke and was working hard at training, but her material was boring and she relied on Kenichi. Meanwhile, Kenichi and Kazuyo naturally have a physical relationship, but she finds out that Kazuyo was actually the wife of the late Kantaro Namiki, whom Kenichi admired.

Lorsque l'Armée rouge du Japon a pris une femme en otage lors de leur fuite, à Asama dans la région de Nagano, en 1972, l'officier Atsuyuki Sassa a été chargé de désamorcer la situation. Mais la tâche n'est pas aisée. À son arrivée dans la région montagneuse de Nagano, Sassa a dû faire face à des températures hivernales glaciales, à des rivalités entre la police métropolitaine de Tokyo et la police préfectorale de Nagano, ainsi qu'à l'opinion publique, afin de pouvoir sauver l'otage.

The married woman, Suzu, was hiding behind her husband, Yuichi, who was assigned to work alone, and had an affair with her colleague Tobe. However, as Yuichi returned to Tokyo, Suzu and Tobe had a quarrel, and Tobe pondered and grabbed Suzu's arm and jumped out onto the road to measure his heart. Upon hearing the news, Yuichi rushes to the hospital where the bell was brought in, but is shocked to hear the story of the matter from the managing director who had come earlier. Meanwhile, he meets Tobe's wife, Manami, who wears mourning clothes, and her daughter, Akane.
