Like her directorial debut Twelve Nights, Twelve Days depicts 12 scenes of a tumultuous marriage, from its blissful beginning through its bitter collapse. On day one, Jeannie and Simon seem to have the makings of a perfect marriage, but the following 11 vignettes reveal the various conflicts, both big and small, that slowly eat away at their bond. Love may build a marriage, but Twelve Days shows that reality can just as easily shatter it.

This anthology film features a triplet of horror stories starring up-and-coming actors and popular local Youtubers. When a film crew is haunted by paranormal activities, the director decides to cast her to play a ghost; When a taxi driver takes his girlfriend to a party room to get it on, a horny ghost adds spice to the proceedings; When a wandering ghost refuses to leave a soon-to-be-gentrified mall, the tenants concoct a plan to send her off.

The Kowloon Industrial District is home to many of Hong Kong’s artists, including rapper Heyo, YouTuber Alan, rising star Hana, and dancer. However, the government is preparing the area for gentrification. The group from ‘The Way We Dance’ were invited to participate in a publicity stunt to transform the district into a ‘Dance Street’. Alan points out that this is an opportunity to garner support from the public. Meanwhile, Heyo’s master Afuc is planning a revolution.
