It follows 15-year-old Nic during a pivotal moment in his life, as he prepares to move away from his hometown with his mother; this brings an end to his developing relationship with his closest friend, James. The film is an honest portrayal of the isolating nature of growing up queer in rural Australia, exploring the themes of loneliness, nostalgia and identity.
