Katerina Bychkova

1993 - the story of one family suddenly turns out to be the history of the whole country. The relationship of painfully and inextricably linked husband and wife, emergency workers, and the growing up of their daughter against the backdrop of global change.

The video, made by director Katerina Bychkova for Taya Galkova's eponymous track, is based on real events that happened to Taya's grandmother and mother. This is a story about strong women, about the victory of life over death. The video is based on archive and private chronicles and appears as a synthesis of text and detected materials.
