Ko Tin Bo had been an experienced eater since youth, he knows everything about food and the taste as soon as it goes into his mouth. Unfortunately due to a family crisis he and his loyal follower Lee Wai were forced to wander the streets and made a living off selling buns. Because of food, Tin Bo met a female street entertainer Gei Mo Suet, the Capital's most beautiful woman Lin Yeuk Bik and female chef Mai Siu Yue. MA FU, a retired employee of the HK Correctional Services Department, moved back to live with his son after retirement. A Chip Off the Old Block is a 2009 TVB television drama from Hong Kong produced and created by Poon Ka Tak. The original broadcast was on the TVB Jade with approximately 45-minute long episodes airing five days a week. The final two episodes were an hour and a half long each, which aired during the weekends. A Chip Off the Old Block tells the story of the articulate businessman Chor Chi, who accidentally travels back in time to the 1960s and meets his younger father, Chor Fan.

In order to rescue her best friend Coco Kam, masseuse Cheng Siu-Yan is embroiled in a triad murder case. Cheong manages a Chinese herbal tea shop but business is failing. Yan drags through the days stressfully until Ng Chung-Ming comes into her life. Chung-Ming claims to have a secret prescription for making Chinese herbal tea but he is actually an undercover police. By investigating Siu-Yan's case, Chung-Ming hopes to get promoted and marry his inspector girlfriend Cheung Sz-Man. But when he meets the cheerful Siu-Yan, he begins to develop his self-esteem and his relationship with Siu-Yan grows.

Cheung Fei Fan, Ho Tit Nam and Ha Tin Hang are brothers who have been separated for many years. When the three were young, their lives scattered because of the 1997 Asian financial crisis. Many years later, they reunite and slowly they find out that there was a great conspiracy in their past.

Triumph in the Skies is about the daily lives of the staff, working under Solar Airways (a fictional airline based on Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific). It has been compared to the now-cancelled NBC series LAX. It sparked an interest in aviation when first aired amongst Hong Kong viewers, as well as an interest in a small doll named "Triangel" featured early on in the series.
