It’s 2020. A virus has taken over the world. People are dying in masses. The economy has fallen (or so it seems). Unemployment remains a relevant and widely ignored problem. In this setting, an accident happens in the city of Lodz. They say a blue crystal fell from the sky and killed a homeless man. Miłosz and Tomek, two random guys, find the body and the rock.

Tough skinhead Adam ignores his disability, depite it he tries to dominate his loved ones. A decision by his caring brother to change jobs pushes Adam to reconsider his situation and and face up to his own limitations.

Robert, 19 ans, immigrant polonais, vient d’emménager sur les côtes norvégiennes. Il travaille dans une usine de poisson, pour gagner de l’argent et payer les dettes de sa mère. Robert se lie rapidement d’amitié avec les autres Polonais de l’équipe et tombe amoureux d’Ivar, le fils adoptif du propriétaire de l’usine. Mais alors qu’Ivar est ouvertement gay, Robert préfère garder ses sentiments secrets, par peur de la réaction de ses compatriotes. Lorsque l’usine se met en grève, Robert doit faire un choix : entre l’argent dont il a désespérément besoin et son amour pour Ivar.
