Un fermier américain se lance dans un projet insensé : transformer une bande de terre située dans le désert nord-africain en royaume pour sa fille. Ce documentaire raconte l’incroyable histoire entièrement américaine de Jeremiah Heaton et de sa conquête géographique. Tout commence en 2014 lorsque Heaton revendique 500 000 acres de terres désertiques entre l'Égypte et le Soudan ; son objectif initial est d'établir un royaume afin que sa fille puisse devenir princesse. Ce qui s'ensuit suscite l'attention des médias, un accord pour faire un film avec Disney et un changement de motivation : Heaton décide de créer une véritable nation, avec une industrie, une armée et plus encore.

Axel, a promising but lovesick high school student, attempts to drown his sorrows in a night of booze and drug-filled partying until things get violently out of control when a neighbor is nearly beaten to death by his friends. Drunk sick, Axel is wrongfully blamed for the crime. His problems are compounded when he is sent to the notorious Youth Prison of Iceland “The Place” where the head guard abuses Axel in increasingly severe attempts to convince him to accept faith as his salvation.
