Quatre touristes se rendent sur l'île suédoise de Gotland au mois de septembre en espérant passer le temps de leur vie. Cependant, ils découvrent rapidement qu'à la période de l'année de leur choix pour les vacances, c'est une période de l'année où les Suédois sont n'importe où sauf sur l'île.
