Patalliro du Malyner VIII is the crown prince of Malynera, a kingdom that produces diamonds. Despite being ugly and mischievous, he is loyal and fair. Many enemies of the throne, including Malynera's Prime Minister, plan to get rid of him and take control of the rich nation. Patalliro, however, has the protection of Jack Barbarosa Bancoran, his haughty and extremely handsome bodyguard, who will protect him even from the latter's own lover, the beautiful bishonen hitman Maraich Juschenfe and other assassins.

Chizuru est une jeune femme maniant le sabre à la recherche de Kôdô, son père, disparu lors d'un voyage. Elle est sauvée puis capturée par le Shinsengumi, un groupe de samouraïs qui traquent une race de monstres vampires : les rasetsu.

Ashiya Mizuki vient de rentrer au Japon depuis la Californie. Sauvée du désespoir par Sano Izumi, un jeune espoir du saut en hauteur, elle souhaite lui rendre l'appareil, lui a abandonné le sport après un certain accident. Elle entre alors dans le même lycée que lui, le lycée pour garçons Osaka, en tant que garçon. Avec des cheveux courts, une poitrine aplatie et une voix plus basse, elle commence à partager la même chambre qu'Izumi. Il s'agit d'un remake de la version de 2007, plus proche du manga original.
