Itto, jeune marocaine d’origine modeste, s’est adaptée à l’opulence de la famille de son mari, chez qui elle vit. Alors qu’elle se réjouissait d’une journée de tranquillité sans sa belle-famille, des événements surnaturels plongent le pays dans l’état d’urgence. Summer 1955. Kamal, an 11 year old boy of the Medina of Fez, is experiencing the last months before Morocco's independence. With Aïcha and the students of the Qaraouiyine, he discovers and takes part in the fight for freedom. These 3 months will change his life.

Soundouss and Jaâfar, two gay youths from Casablanca, spend the summer in Cabo Negro in the north of Morocco, at a villa rented by Jaâfar’s American lover—who does not show up. The friends decide to stay in the villa and do the best they can.

Leila, a young woman in contemporary Morocco who is caught between her own desires and the societal and familial expectations that bind her. As she navigates the pressures of tradition and personal identity, Leila faces a heartbreaking choice that forces her to confront the deep conflicts within herself.
